Alyssa is graduate of Dean College, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre with a concentration in musical theatre. She is also a 2020 graduate of Cape Cod Community College, where she obtained her Associate's degree at only 18 years old. She began studying dance at the age of two, and found a passion for acting at five. Since then she has pursued a study of dance, theatre, and voice. She was a member of the Young Company at Cape Rep Theatre from its inaugural year in 2016 until 2020, during her time in the company she both acted and assistant directed. Alyssa was a performance intern at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre in the summer of 2019, and a performance/production intern at The Academy of Performing Arts in the summer of 2021. In addition to performing and serving as a member of the production teams in shows, Alyssa is the founder of Homeschool Play Cape Cod, a program created in conjunction with the New Classics Company designed to give homeschooled students the opportunity to participate in school plays.
Past Performing credits include: All Together Now (Dean College), Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense (The Academy of Performing Arts), Kelly/Emma/Young Meredith in Boundless (Cape Cod Community College), PIE Story Theatre (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre), Mrs.Fox/Mable in Fantastic Mr Fox (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre), Calypso/Ensemble in The Odyssey (The Young Company at Cape Rep), MacDuff’s Child in Macbeth (New Classics Company), Ensemble in Dead Man’s Cell Phone (Cape Cod Community College), and Ballet Girl in Billy Elliot (Cape Rep Theatre). Past production credits include: Assistant Directing for The Freshmen Theatre Showcase (Dean College), Choreography for Nunsense (The Academy of Performing Arts), Assistant Direction for Once in a Lifetime (The Young Company at Cape Rep), and Costumes and Choreography for Dead Man’s Cell Phone (Cape Cod Community College). In her spare time Alyssa can be found reading, writing, or playing board games with friends. Alyssa was born and raised on Cape Cod. She is based in Boston, MA and Minneapolis, MN.
